Date Description Comment 09 Apr 2010 Assessment Guidelines Please be advised that the Assessment Guidelines SAU-ASG Version 6.0 has been replaced with Assessment Guidelines EU-ASG Version 1.0 and is located under the menu "How to become an assessor". 12 Nov 2009 Team Jamaica Requirements The Team Jamaica requirements have been included in the new and revised qualifications for hospitality under the description: “Apply Knowledge of Team Jamaica requirements in the workplace - THTTEJ0011A” as an elective unit. Although this unit is labeled as an elective, it is mandatory for individuals desirous of being employed in the Jamaican hospitality industry. This unit will be stated on the Statement of Competence when completed successfully. As other qualifications are developed or revised the Team Jamaica unit will also be included. Thank you Natalie Ferreira-Reid (Information & Records Manager) 17 Apr 2009 Assessor Registration Please be advised that the NCTVET has suspended the acceptance of applications for assessor registration from individuals on completion of the Assessor Training Programme at VTDI. The NCTVET will inform the VTDI of areas where there is a need for cetified assessors especailly in new and emerging qualifications.
