Qualification Framework gives information pertaining to unit competencies within a qualification plan that may fit your work area or skill area training needs. To obtain information about unit competencies, click on any of the options listed below as instructed. Find the Job or Skill area your are interested in by clicking Occupation/Job or Industry to retrieve information on unit competencies per qualification plan per sector per Occupation/Job or Industry. Select the sector which best describes your prefered area of work The list of Units Competencies that are required to be certified in that skill area is listed. Click the documents to view the competencies. On completion of the required number of unit competencies within a Qualification Plan, an individual will be awarded a National Vocational Qualification of Jamaica(NVQJ) certificate. Click on View Documents to see the Unit Competency Documents, Learning Guides, a list of Certified Assessors, and a list of Institutions offering the particular Unit Standard.
