How do I get Certified?

• Contact any NCTVET Accredited Training Organization in Jamaica and make inquires about getting certified in the skill which you have an interest.
• If you feel that you have some experience in certain areas, the training institution will help you to assess and measure the quality of the skills and knowledge that you have already.
• A career councilor will advise you on how to close the gap between what you have and what you need, and will show you how you can build on what you already have.
• After you have demonstrated competence at a level that meets the requirement of ‘good quality work’, you will be recommended for the National Vocational Qualification of Jamaica (NVQ-J) at the level at which you have been assessed.
